Life in North Skye can be incredibly special—but like anywhere, people can still experience loneliness, anxiety, low mood, or just need someone to talk to. It’s important to know that support is available, and you don’t have to go through things on your own.
Mikeysline offers emotional support to anyone aged 16 and over. You don’t need a diagnosis, and you don’t need a referral—just reach out if you feel you’d benefit from speaking to someone who will listen without judgment.
How Mikeysline Can Support You
They provide a range of flexible options to make support as accessible as possible:
Face-to-face appointments
Telephone support
Zoom/video appointments
Textline support, open every evening
If texting feels easier than talking, their evening textline is a simple, confidential way to connect. You can find more information here:👉 https://oursupport.mikeysline.co.uk/
Groups and Community Support
Mikeysline also runs a variety of supportive sessions and groups, including an online menopause support group, which has been a valuable space for many people to share experiences and feel less alone.
Supporting Workplaces and Young People
Beyond one-to-one support, Mikeysline works with:
Local businesses and organisations, offering mental health training and awareness sessions tailored to staff needs
Schools and young people, delivering workshops that focus on building resilience and understanding emotions
Currently, they are running Mental Fitness sessions with P6 and P7 pupils, helping young people develop tools to manage their wellbeing early on. Young people can also reach out directly if they need someone to talk to.
